The Moore County Commissioners have been working to improve the heating and cooling system for the courthouse. The Moore County News Press reports that commissioners voted to improve more repairs, to a system installed in 2013. Repairs approved will cost 6 to $8,000 dollars. This is on top of spending $22,000 in 2020 on repairs to the same system.

Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) introduced his first piece of legislation as a Member of Congress, titled Opposing Business with Chinese Military Companies Act, his office announced in a Thursday email. Congressman Jackson’s bill changes the Fiscal Year 1999 provision from authorization to a requirement in dealing with China.
The Amarillo Sod Poodles announced their 2021 season yesterday. The season includes 120 regular-season games, with 60 at home and 60 on the road.

The 2021 season will be May 4 to September 19, and begins on the road with a rematch against the Tulsa Drillers
Fans can attend the season home opener against the Midland RockHounds at Hodgetown Stadium on Tuesday, May 18.
