Your water bill is going up in Dumas, due to a surcharge.  Southwestern Public Service and Xcel Energy are collecting the surcharges.  It will amount to $14.36 per month in summer, and an extra $12.09 a month during winter.  The additional money will be collected from March of this year thru April of 2022, according to the Moore County News Press.
Are you ready for your Covid-19 vaccination? The vaccine will be first come first serve for first responders, healthcare workers, anyone over the age of 65 or anyone over the age of 18 with a health condition that increases risk of severe COVID-19 illness this week in Dumas.
The clinics will take place from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm on the 10th and from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm on the 11th and 13th.  The first two hours of each day will be reserved for those 65 and older.  The clinics are first come, first served.  No prior online registration is required.  People will be vaccinated as long as supplies of vaccine hold out.  No eligible person will be turned away, even people who are not Moore County residents.  The vaccinations are free of charge, and at the Moore County Community Center.

Congressman Ronny Jackson is now a Co-Chair of the Texas Agriculture Task Force.  The task force will advocate for Texas agriculture priorities in the House, ensuring the delegation presents a united front in advancing policy positions.  The Texas Ag Task Force will be an important part of staying close to Texas producers as they craft the next Farm Bill and advance policies that strengthen American agriculture and rural America.
