Moore County officials are looking for a man wanted for aggravated assault on a public servant. Officials are looking for Ricardo Rodriguez.

If your information leads to his arrest, you could receive a reward of up to $1,000.

Today is the second day that a medical unit of the Texas National Guard will hold a first-dose vaccination clinic from 8 am to 7 pm in the Moore County Community Building in Dumas.

The unit will have doses of the Pfizer vaccine to administer to people in the Phase 1A, 1B, and 1C categories. These include front-line healthcare workers, residents at long-term care facilities, first responders, people 65 years of age and older, and people 16 years of age and older with a chronic qualifying health condition such as cancer, heart disease, obesity, pregnancy, COPD, Type 2 diabetes, Down Syndrome, kidney disease, and others. In addition, the state has recently added to the list of qualifying individuals anyone who works in a pre-primary, primary, or secondary school, Head Start or Early Head Start program, or for a licensed child care provider, either center-based or family-care.

Unlike the previous clinics, the first two hours Thursday and Friday will not be reserved for those 65 and over. Any qualifying individual is welcome at anytime during the clinics.


Four Demons have been named to the District 4-4A All-District basketball list. The list includes four juniors and one sophomore.

On Wednesday, March 17, at 4:30 P.M., Dumas Little League will receive $2,538.80 for the use of purchasing Poly Cap Fence Guards.

This is a heavy-duty material specifically designed for the top of the fencing in the ballfields to protect athletes from injury.

The presentation is scheduled at the Dumas Little League Complex at 14th & Twitchell.
