The City of Dumas is distributing the high costs of natural gas from suppliers that occurred when record low temperatures hit the Panhandle in February. The city also said those additional costs won’t be passed onto residents. The Moore County News Press reports, the city provides natural gas to 5500 accounts in the city.

According to the Texas State Department of Health, and various media outlets, reports show that 67 plus % of Moore County seniors, ages 65 and up, received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, and 57% have been fully vaccinated. 2,008 active cases of Covid we’re county wide, and 72 people died. Currently there are no active cases.
