Moore County Public Health Authority is reporting 27 active cases of Covid 19 in Moore County. If you are sick stay home and see a doctor.

If you are interested in getting the COVID vaccine you can get Pfizer at Dr. Purl’s Fast Care Clinic every other Friday (Next one will be 7/30/21), Moore County Internal Medicine offers Moderna every Wednesday and Moore County Family Health Clinic offers Moderna every Thursday. All of these vaccines are free!

Today is a special meeting of the Moore County Commissioners, and some of their agenda items include approval to spend $14,500 from a RAMP grant to paint one of the hangers at Moore County Airport.

With the Cowboy Classic Rodeo coming up, commissioners will take action on two items, approving a sublease with the county and the Cowboy Classic Rodeo Association, and take any necessary action regarding the association paying for any repairs at the rodeo arena.

Multiple people were shot at an after-hours club early Saturday morning.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were called to a shooting in the 1300 block of NE 3rd Avenue around 3:46 a.m. They found areas where multiple rounds were fired.

Six people went to local hospitals with gun shot wounds from the incident. None of the injuries were life-threatening.
APD says businesses that choose to operate in such a way that jeopardizes the safety of patrons are also part of the problem and will be held accountable.
